2 years plus since my amf

by lasenora » Sat Jun 08, 2021 11:55 am

I just thought I'd check back to see how everyone else has gone on and decided to let you know how I am after 2 years 4 months.
This morning I did the dreaded age test i.e. lay a mirror flat on the table and looked down at it. The result - still no jowls! Basically, that is all I wanted and expected from the advanced mini facelift and it is precisely what I've got.
Yes, there was slight discomfort after the op but does anyone really think they can have such a procedure and feel nothing?
Yes, there are small scars at the temple and around the ears but again - to be expected.
Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Guest and his team to anyone who wants to wipe away that tired, melted wax appearance and lift those droopy jowls. If you're looking for a totally wrinkle free face with razor sharp jawline this is probably not the right procedure for you. For me, at 58, I'm happy to have the natural, refreshed, younger looking face that I've been given. Thanks to all concerned.

Hi there, I'm glad to hear you still have no jowls, which is hopefully how I will turn out after my AMF in November. When you say small scars, how small? are they still noticeable after two years? or is it just you? Anyway, I am looking forward to having it done, but more concerned about scarring than the operation. My hair falls away from my ears naturally so it will be quite difficult to try and conceal. I am also wondering about how long you need to sleep sitting up on your back for? Not good for me. Any info would be very much appreciated. xx
