I'm due to have an AMF this coming Nov/Dec & as I'm a singlton, I have to drive the 1 & a half hour jorney home the next day. Does anyone feel that this would be unadvisable?

You will be unable to drive for 48 hours after having sedation. If you wish to drive yourself home you will need to stay in Bristol until that time period has elapsed before leaving. There should be no problem with driving at that stage.
