Re: tight jawline wanted.

The advanced mini facelift doesn't just address the mid section of the face. It also smooths out the jawline though the results aren't as tight as a full face lift. The advanced mini facelift is a more natural option.

2 years plus since my amf

I just thought I'd check back to see how everyone else has gone on and decided to let you know how I am after 2 years 4 months. This morning I did the dreaded age test i.e. lay a mirror flat on the table and looked down at it. The result - still no jowls! Basically, that is all I wanted and expected...

6 months on from advanced mini facelift

It's now 6 months since I had my advanced mini facelift. I thought it would be a good time to post an update on my thoughts about the procedure and the results now everything has settled down. In my last post a couple of months back I mentioned that some numbness was still present in front of my ear...

Re: How to camouflage scars

Hi W It's just over 6 weeks since my AMF and the scars are still quite red at my temples but the green concealer works great for me. As you say, it's important to let the scars heal properly but in my case, that was the first area to settle down. Even now it's still a bit tight and 'nippy' at the bo...

How to camouflage scars

The scars at your temples can be quite red and difficult to hide especially if, like me, you don't usually wear much makeup and if your hair is very fair/grey. I've found the best cover up to be a green concealer stick. And no, you won't look like the Incredible Hulk if you use it carefully. The one...

4 weeks since AMF

It's now 4 weeks since my AMF so I've tried to put together some tips for those of you who are about to undergo the procedure. 1) First of all, be POSITIVE . Go into this with a confident attitude. You're in good hands. 2) Buy yourself a couple of pretty scarves. Luckily there are plenty on the mark...

Re: How subtle is the AMF?

Hi Firstclasscat, I'm glad you're feeling more confident about the procedure now. I think anyone who's considering any type of surgery, especially to the face will be a bit apprehensive about the outcome. My biggest fear was that I'd end up lopsided or worse still, looking like Joan Rivers. I needn'...

How subtle is the AMF?

I think many people will be asking this question. Is the result too subtle and should I opt for a full facelift? Here is my opinion based on my experience. In my early 40s I started to develop jowls. Over the past 15 years I’ve tried everything on the market to get rid of them or at least disguise t...

Here’s my account of my AMF

I arrived at the hospital at 10.00am. By 1.45 I was sitting up in bed waiting for food and ringing my husband to let him know the procedure was all over. The operation itself was a surreal experience. There was no pain, no pulling and tugging (as I expected). Just a vague recollection of Black Sabba...
